The Alta Community Library Board, along with the director and staff, would like to thank everyone who worked to support the bond referendum. While the bond did not pass, we remain committed to finding a permanent home for our library so that we can continue serving our community through our programs and materials. We believe a strong public library is essential for community growth, and we are honored to play a part in its success.

Library Policies

Library policies are set by the Library Board of Trustees, with input from the director, staff, and public, and policies follow local and state laws and guidelines, as well as professional standards set by the American Library Association. If you have any questions about the policies, please contact the Library Director.
